OnePlus 7: Update on new leaks and rumors

Less than two weeks before its official release, the high-end version of the upcoming OnePlus delivers its secrets. Some images leaked, while results of a new OnePlus were detected on a benchmarking site.

While the Chinese manufacturer OnePlus is to announce two new smartphones on May 14, the German site WinFuture and Ishan Agarwal, on Twitter, have managed to get their hands on images “official” of the so-called OnePlus 7 Pro. These new images confirm some rumors about this new high-end OnePlus model.

The images show a OnePlus 7 Pro with the screen that occupies the entire front, without the slightest notch, and with curved edges.

It would be, according to the German site, a display of a diagonal of 6.67 inches, with a definition of 3.120 x 1.440 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The images show the “nebulous blue” and ” mirror gray  ” versions, with a third ”  almond  ” color that is still expected to be seen.

The processor confirmed by performance tests

On the camera side, OnePlus manages to eliminate the notch of the screen by adding a retractable front camera with a sensor of 16 million pixels.

On the back, there is a triple camera with a 48 megapixel (f / 1.6) primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens (f / 2.2, 117 degrees), and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with a zoom 3 x (f / 2.4). The device would also have the 30 W fast charge.

In parallel, performance tests appeared on Geekbench for a device called OnePlus GM1917. It indeed corresponds to the OnePlus 7 Pro. It ships the SnapDragon 855 processor and 12 gigabytes of RAM.

With a score of 3.506 in mono-heart and 11.227 in multi-heart, it is placed just above the version equipped with a SnapDragon very muscular Samsung Galaxy S10 +. His score leaves him however below the version of the Galaxy S10 + which is equipped with the powerful processor Exynos 9820.
