Six photo sensors, including two for selfies, a 120 Hz screen, 5G, fast charging For less than 300 euros, it is difficult to find better than the Redmi K30, manufactured by Xiaomi.
The manufacturer Xiaomi has just announced in China a new low-cost smartphone via its subsidiary Redmi. The Redmi K30 will be available in 5G and 4G versions , with differences between each model in terms of processor , macro photo sensor and fast charge. The 5G version thus integrates the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor , while the 4G LTE version integrates the SoC Snapdragon 730G, the two processors being optimized for gaming.
Under Android , the Redmi K30 sports a IPS LCD screen of 6.67 inches Full HD + (1.080 x 2.400 pixels ) with a refresh rate of 120 hertz for much more fluid animations and games. It will be offered with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 64 to 256 GB of storage, expandable with a microSD card, as well as a 4,500 mAh battery with fast charge 30 W for the 5G version or 27 W for the 4G version.
5G at less than 300 euros
On the photo side, it incorporates a quadruple photo module at the rear with the new 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor, accompanied by an 8-megapixel wide-angle (120 °) lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 5 megapixel macro module for the 5G version or 2 megapixel macro for the 4G version. The selfie camera is housed in an oblong hole at the top right of the screen, with two sensors : a main 20 megapixel lens and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. Make the count, it incorporates six photo sensors!
The 4G version starts at 1,599 yuan (205 euros), while the 5G version starts at 1,999 yuan (256 euros) with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, and prices go up to 2,199 (282 euros) and 2,899 yuan respectively for the 8 GB + 256 GB version. For the moment, Xiaomi has not indicated a date for an international launch.
